Carolina Rönnberg is the young designer behind Wilhja – a label representing the best of contemporary Swedish fashion design. Rönnberg's creations are all about empowering women and searching for an experimental new look. As a nominee for the Rebelpin Award Rönnberg presented her new collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlinin July 2018 leaving the audiences highly impressed and admiring. Exceptional design, craftsmanship, unforgettable flair - that's what Wilhja stands for. Extreme refinement and attention to detail, courage for an experiment with fabrics, silhouettes and colours are the immediately recognisable trademarks. Feminine elegance and power render the women that wear Wilhja exceptional looks. Particular aura that would single one out in a thousand, an experience that won't fade away. Carolina Rönnberg has the courage to embrace the new drawing upon the rich heritage of the history of costume which is undoubtedly a source of inspiration for the designer and her creative team. 

The pieces from the new collection celebrate subtlety and freshness, genuine femininity combined with a strong spirit, the unusual and the mysterious. It's all about flowing forms and melting contours, the incessant search for the innovative inspired by the nature in the best traditions of the history of design matched with flamboyant fantasy. All this is combined with high environmental awareness since the majority of pieces is made of recycled, up- cycled or renewable materials. What you wear is what you are.
