INVITATIONToday. Berlin. Art
Auction of contemporary art in Berlin
Starts at 7 P.M.

Cocktail greeting from 3 P.M. to 7 P.M.

This is a debut for us - our third auction "Today. Berlin. Art "is exclusively dedicated to contemporary art in Berlin from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the present day.

Almost all current artistic trends are represented. We paid special attention to the material quality of our collection.

The authors of the works are artists of different generations and very different backgrounds, such a selection directly reflects the current state of German culture with its multiculturalism and multi-ethnicity.

The collection includes graphics by the founding fathers of the "Neue Wilden", such as A. R. Penck and Stefan Szczesny. We proudly present the work of the pioneer of technical art - Otto Piene. As co-founder of the Berlin art scene and known for his educational work, Professor Wolfgang Petrick represented with digital graphics, but also works by his former students, already known artists of the younger generation are presented. A work by Professor Klaus Fußmann, a famous painting theorist, opens a large group of figurative tendencies from the neo-pop art of Andrei Krioukov to the neo-realism of Danja Akulin and Wu Zhi. The art of the street is represented by the classic banana sprayer Thomas Baumgärtel and his artistic counterpart OSTAP (Slava Osinski). Finally, we offer the nostalgic Berlin landscapes of the 90s by the sketches virtuoso Alexander Sementsov.

The auction will take place on April 28, 2018
at Villa Elisabeth, Invalidenstraße 3, 10115 Berlin.
